Deep Creek Reserve

Deep Creek Reserve sits off Wakehurst Parkway in North Narrabeen, a big flat field with a Northern Beaches Council dog area and bush tracks leading off toward the creek.

Leads and the off-lead area

Dogs can be off lead in the reserve's designated dog area. On the bush trails and connecting tracks, keep them on a lead.

The Manly and District Kennel and Dog Training Club uses parts of the reserve on Thursdays and weekend mornings, so follow the signs about where dogs can run.

The walk

Past the grass, dirt and unsealed tracks follow the creek through bushland with small waterfalls, and link into the Narrabeen Lagoon trail network.

Water and facilities

There are drinking taps, bins, toilets, picnic tables and on-site parking.

Max: Club training takes over parts of the field at set times. Read the sign at the gate before you let go of the lead.

Make a day of it

Afterwards, head toward the lake for a coffee at Lakehouse Cafe Narrabeen.

Avoid club training times for the most room. It suits dogs that like a run and then a sniff along bush tracks.
