The address is on Wattamolla Road in the inland Kangaroo Valley locality, reached by car via the Illawarra Highway or the Princes Highway turnoff near Berry, with off-street parking typically available. Local roads are narrow and winding; take it easy at dawn and dusk when wildlife is on the verges.

Kangaroo Valley village is generally pet-friendly: Valley Bliss Eatery and the beer garden at The Friendly Inn Hotel both take dogs outdoors, and the Kangaroo Valley River has spots for a dip near town.
