Bundewallah Reserve Walking Track

The Bundewallah Reserve Walking Track leads out of the hills behind Berry to a waterfall spilling into a rock pool. It is a bush track, not a park, and Shoalhaven City Council rules put dogs on lead here.

Leads on the track

Shoalhaven City Council requires dogs to be leashed in public reserves unless a spot is signed as an off-leash area. Bundewallah Reserve is not one, so keep the lead on and check the signs at the start.

The walk

It is an out and back walk of roughly 3 to 3.4 km return, depending on where you park along Bundewallah Road. The ground is natural earth, dirt and rock.

After rain it gets muddy and slippery, and parts can be overgrown. The payoff is a fern-rich rainforest canopy and the falls at the end.

Max: Short lead and good boots here. Wet rock by the pool is slippery for paws and people.
