Pickled Ink Kitchen is a small, house-made-food cafe on Queen Street, the main strip in Berry. Dogs are welcome at the footpath tables out front, which makes it an easy coffee-and-lunch stop while you are wandering the town with your dog.

There is also a well-stocked freezer of take-home meals like curries, cottage pie and lasagne, handy if you are staying in nearby pet-friendly accommodation and want to skip cooking. Open Tuesday to Saturday, roughly 9am to 3pm, so it is a daytime stop only. Confirm current hours before a special trip.

Getting there and parking. It sits in the heart of Berry on Queen Street. Free street parking runs along Queen Street, though it fills on weekends. If you are already on foot exploring the shops, it is an easy walk in.

Nearby with the dogs. The whole of Berry is walkable, and Queen Street is a pleasant strip for a leisurely lead walk past the boutiques, many of which tolerate well-behaved dogs at the door. There is green space a short walk away for a quick leg-stretch before or after lunch.
