Berry Showground Camping Area

Berry Showground Camping Area is a council-run campground on the edge of Berry on the NSW South Coast, with 48 powered and unpowered sites and an amenities block. It is a traditional showground setup: a mix of powered and unpowered sites across 48 spots, an amenities block with hot showers, a camp kitchen, laundry and a dump point. No fires are permitted anywhere on the grounds. Reviewers rate it highly, and the atmosphere is the classic showground one, quiet on ordinary nights, busy when the calendar fills. The ground closes to camping during the annual Berry Show, so check dates around June.

Getting there and parking

The showground sits at 35 Alexandra Street, Berry, just off the Princes Highway and about two and a half hours from Sydney. Main vehicle access is through Gate 1 on Alexandra Street. You park on your site, and the centre of Berry is close enough to walk, which is the whole point of staying here.

Close by with the dogs

Queen Street's footpath cafes are minutes from the gate: IV Coffee and the SocialLife beer garden are both easy walks with a leashed dog. For another pet-friendly base nearby, Bundara Farm offers a farm-stay alternative.
