Lloran Log Cabins

Lloran Log Cabins sits on 100 Yeola Road just outside Robertson in the Southern Highlands, log cabins spread across 25 acres of farmland with three acres of gardens, and it is set up for dogs in a way most rural stays are not: each cabin has a secured, enclosed veranda where your dog can be safely left while you go somewhere that does not take dogs.

Worth knowing

One local trap worth planning around: Fitzroy Falls, fifteen minutes south down Nowra Road, is inside Morton National Park, so dogs are strictly not permitted on the tracks or lookouts, assistance animals excepted. The enclosed veranda is what makes the falls day trip work, since your dog stays safely home rather than shut in a hot car. The rolling green country around Robertson, famous for its rain and potato country, is good quiet walking country on the property and the local roads.

While you're out there

In town, Moonacres Kitchen on the Illawarra Highway welcomes dogs at its outdoor tables, and in nearby Bundanoon, Bundanoon fenced off-leash dog park is the secure run worth the drive, with Potter's Pantry for a dog-friendly bite afterwards.
