Bundanoon's fenced off-leash dog park sits within the Jordans Crossing reserve and opened in 2023, giving the village its first fully fenced off-leash space with separate enclosures for big and small dogs. It's open around the clock and free to use.

The rules. Dogs can run off-leash inside the fenced enclosures only. Owners need to stay in the park and keep their dog in sight the whole time, and any dog showing aggression should be leashed and taken out straight away. Clean up after your dog using the bins provided.

What's there. Two separate fenced enclosures, one for large dogs and one for small or timid dogs, plus seating for owners and bins for waste. It sits within the wider Jordans Crossing reserve, which also has a children's playground and open grassy ground outside the fence.

Getting there. The park is on Ellsmore Road, a short drive from the village centre with free parking on site. It's walkable from town in twenty to thirty minutes if you want to make the walk itself part of the outing, and it's a few minutes' drive from Bundanoon railway station.

Nearby with the dogs. DeliLicious and other village cafes offer dog-friendly outdoor seating, and the Bundanoon Hotel has a pet-friendly beer garden for afterwards. Several guesthouses and cabins around town also take dogs if you're staying over.

the split enclosures are the best part here, a nervous or small dog isn't getting bowled over by someone's boisterous kelpie, they've got their own space.
