Jordans Crossing

Jordans Crossing is a bushland reserve on Jordans Crossing Road in Bundanoon, a short flat walk from the village centre, with open grassy space and creek access alongside the fenced off-leash dog park that now sits within the same reserve.

The rules. Away from the fenced dog park enclosure, this is general reserve land, so keep dogs under effective control and clean up after them. The open areas are unfenced, so a dog with reliable recall matters, especially near the road and rail line.

What's there. A gravel parking area, waste bins, and creek access for dogs to wade or swim, though water quality varies after rain so use judgement. Seating is minimal, so bring a blanket or chairs if you're staying a while.

Getting there. It's an easy, mostly flat walk south from the village along Railway Avenue, or a short drive with gravel parking on site. Bundanoon railway station is nearby on the Southern Highlands line.

Nearby with the dogs. The Bundanoon Hotel has a pet-friendly beer garden, and several cafes on the main street offer outdoor seating for dogs. Morton National Park is close by for a longer walk.
