Reflections Coffs Harbour - Holiday Park

Reflections Coffs Harbour, the former Park Beach Holiday Park, sits across the road from Park Beach at 123 Pacific Highway, and it is one of the more properly dog-friendly holiday parks on the NSW north coast. Dogs are welcome year round on camping sites and in selected dog-friendly cabins, with Park Beach sand a leash-length from the gate.

Dogs at the park

The rules come from Reflections Holidays' dog-friendly code of conduct, and they are enforced: declare your dogs at the time of booking, because arriving with an undeclared dog can see the booking refused and money forfeited. A maximum of two dogs applies per approved site or cabin. Outside your own pitch, dogs must be on a lead no longer than two metres, supervised at all times and never left unattended, and they are banned from the camp kitchen, amenities blocks, laundry and office. You sign the code of conduct at check-in and clean up immediately.

On the accommodation side, dogs are allowed on powered and unpowered camping sites and in the designated dog-friendly cabin types, some of which have fenced verandah areas for the dog. Pets are not permitted in or around any other cabins, so book the dog-friendly cabin type by name. There is generally no extra pet fee on sites; confirm when booking a cabin. A dog wash on the park handles the post-beach rinse.

Close by with the dogs

Park Beach opposite allows dogs on lead with the off-leash run at the North Wall Beach off leash area a short drive north, and Boambee Beach also takes dogs. The shaded Coffs Creek Walk suits a long on-leash loop. If the park is full, Reflections Moonee Beach up the highway also runs dog-friendly cabins.

Max: book the dog-friendly cabin type explicitly and put the dogs on the booking. Undeclared dogs are the one mistake this park does not wave through.

Getting there and parking

The park fronts the Pacific Highway on Coffs Harbour's northern side, with easy access for caravans and sites with parking by the cabin. Town, the jetty and the big banana are all within a short drive.

Worth knowing

Dog-friendly cabins book out fast in school holidays, so reserve early and have vaccination details handy at check-in. Between the beach across the road, the dog wash and the year-round pet policy on sites, this is a strong base for a Coffs Coast trip with the dog.
