Pet policy

Yes. Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay allows dogs to stay overnight, provided you book a designated pet-friendly option and comply with their park guidelines. A summary of the pet policy: - Designated Accommodation: Dogs are only permitted on designated pet-friendly sites (such as caravan and camping sites) and in specifically designated pet-friendly cabins. - Size & Number Limits: Typically, the park limits bookings to one pet per booking. If you have more pets, you will need to make prior arrangements directly with park management. There is no universal size limit specified chain-wide, but all pe

Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay is a 28-acre holiday park on Broken Head Road, just south of town toward Suffolk Park, and one of the few parks in the area that takes dogs. It pairs cabins and powered sites with an on-site dog wash and a fenced off-leash run, and it sits a short walk from the dog-friendly end of Tallow Beach, which is the real reason to book here with a dog.

The pet policy. Dogs are allowed only on designated pet sites and in specific pet-friendly cabins, and stays must be pre-arranged and approved by the park manager. The standard limit is one dog per booking unless you arrange otherwise in advance. A cleaning fee, a minimum of around $200, can apply if a pet cabin is left soiled, so confirm the current terms when you book.

The rules on-site. Dogs stay on a secure lead any time they are out of your cabin, van or tent, and may only be walked on the park roadways. They are not allowed in the communal areas at all - amenities blocks, camp kitchens, the pool, splash park and playgrounds are off-limits - and must never be left unattended. There is a dedicated dog wash and an enclosed off-leash area for a proper run on-site.

The place. It is a relaxed, bush-set family park with a pool, playground and plenty of green space, a quieter alternative to staying in the Byron CBD. Suffolk Park village, with cafes, a bakery and a pharmacy, is close by.

Location and nearby. The address is 37 Broken Head Rd, on the southern approach into Byron; traffic backs up here in school holidays. Tallow Beach is roughly 300 to 400 metres away, with on-lead and off-lead zones - check the Byron Shire signage for which stretch and when.

Walk the roadways only inside the park and keep the lead on near the amenities; the off-leash run is the one place to let go.

Book a pet site or cabin well ahead in peak season, confirm the one-dog limit and cleaning terms when you do, and you have beach, bush and a dog wash within walking distance.
