Nearby with the dogs. The Mornington beaches are a short drive for a coastal walk (some with leash-free hours, check the shire signs), and the reserves along Moorooduc Highway suit a quick leg-stretch. Civic Reserve fenced dog park is the nearest off-leash run.

When to go. Sunny mornings suit the outdoor benches; the big car park means it stays easy to arrive with a dog even on a busy market day.
