What visitors mention
Dayboro Sugar Mill on William Street is a rustic venue in a former mill building, and it is one of the more dog-welcoming eateries in town, with a large beer garden built for a relaxed afternoon. It even runs to being horse-friendly, with hitching spots at the back, which tells you the crowd it is after.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the spacious beer garden, and are also allowed in the bar area Monday to Saturday. Dogs stay on lead throughout. Water bowls are usually out in the outdoor area, but carry your own for a warm day.
Good to know. The kitchen leans rustic and hearty, with Wolff Coffee Roasters coffee, and weekends often bring live music, so it can get lively. Handy across breakfast, lunch and dinner rather than a narrow window.
Getting there. It is in the main street part of the township, with plentiful street parking along William Street. Access to the garden from the front is level and easy.
Nearby with the dogs. The main street is a short on-lead wander, and Mervyn Kenman Park fenced dog park is a couple of minutes away for an off-leash run before you settle in.

Go on a weekday for a calmer garden, or a weekend if your dog is happy with music and a crowd. Good for social dogs who settle well in a busy outdoor space.
