Parkridge Estate Park Fenced Dog Park

Parkridge Estate Park's fenced dog area sits inside a larger community park beside Dobsons Creek in Upper Caboolture. The drawcard is the split layout: two fully fenced enclosures, one for small or less confident dogs and a larger run for everyone else, under mature eucalypts that take the edge off a Queensland afternoon.

The dog setup

Off-leash applies inside the fenced enclosures only. Everywhere else in the park dogs stay on a lead under City of Moreton Bay rules, and owners remain with their dogs and supervise for the whole visit. Waste bins are provided and clearing up is mandatory, and a dog showing aggression should be removed straight away. Inside the fence there is a dog drinking fountain, natural shade and seating for owners, with the small-dog section a genuine refuge rather than a token corner.

The wider park adds two children's playgrounds and open lawn, so it works as a combined outing once the dogs have had their run. The park is at 12 Parkridge Avenue, Upper Caboolture, also reachable off Caboolture River Road, with parking on site. Public transport does not run close to the gate, so driving is the practical option from anywhere in the Moreton Bay region.
