Grogan Road Park Fenced Dog Park is a fully enclosed off-leash area at the end of Grogan Road in Morayfield, tucked into a quiet residential pocket of the Moreton Bay region. The double-gated entry, water station and shade trees make it a straightforward, no-fuss run for socialised dogs.

The rules. Off-leash is only permitted inside the fenced area itself. Everywhere else in the wider park, including the adjoining bushwalking trails, dogs need to stay on-leash. Owners are expected to keep their dogs under effective control and pick up after them, with waste bins provided on-site.

What's there. The enclosure has a water fountain for dogs, shaded seating for owners, and established trees for natural shade. A children's playground sits nearby in the broader park, so it's worth keeping dogs on-leash and away from that area on the walk in.

Getting there. Free parking is available close to the entrance. There's no bus route running right to the gate, so a car is the practical way in, though Morayfield Station is the nearest train stop if you're happy to walk the rest.

There's no separate small-dog yard here, so it suits confident, well-socialised dogs better than a nervous or tiny one. Use the double gate properly, one side closed before you open the other, so nothing bolts.

When to go. Thursday afternoons and evenings tend to be the busiest stretch, with weekend mornings picking up too. Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the quiet window if you want the yard to yourselves. Good for confident, sociable dogs rather than nervous ones given the single shared enclosure.
