Grogan Road Park Fenced Dog Park

Grogan Road Park Fenced Dog Park is a fully enclosed off-leash area at the end of Grogan Road in Morayfield, set in a quiet residential pocket of the Moreton Bay region. The double-gated entry, water station and mature shade trees make it a straightforward run for socialised dogs, with free parking close to the gate.

The dog setup

Inside the fence there is a dog water fountain, shaded seating for owners and established trees for natural cover. There is no separate small-dog yard, so the single shared enclosure suits confident, well-socialised dogs better than a nervous or tiny one. Use the double gate properly: one side closed before the other opens, so nothing bolts.

Off-leash is only permitted inside the fenced area itself. Everywhere else in the wider park, including the adjoining bushwalking trails, dogs must stay on lead. Owners are expected to keep their dogs under effective control and pick up after them, with waste bins provided on site.

Worth knowing

A children's playground sits nearby in the broader park, so keep your dog on lead and well clear of that area on the walk in. Thursday afternoons and evenings tend to be the busiest stretch, with weekend mornings picking up too. Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the quiet window if you want the yard to yourselves.

Getting there and parking

Free parking is available close to the entrance at the end of Grogan Road. No bus route runs right to the gate, so a car is the practical way in, though Morayfield Station is the nearest train stop if you are happy to walk the rest of the way.

Close by with the dogs

For a bigger session with separate size zones and agility obstacles, North Harbour dog park at Burpengary East is a short drive down the highway. Brodies Park (North) Fenced Dog Park is the other fully enclosed option within Morayfield itself, and Harvey Court Park Fenced Dog Park covers the northern side of Caboolture.
