What visitors mention
Harvey Court Park is a fully fenced off-leash dog park inside Lightwood Parklands in Caboolture South, with a double-gated entry and enough open grass to let dogs run properly.
The rules. Off-leash only applies inside the fenced boundary itself. Everywhere else in Lightwood Parklands, dogs need to stay on-leash. The park uses a double-gated entry system so dogs cannot slip out while you are getting organised, and owners are expected to stay with their dogs and supervise them the whole visit.
What's there. There is a dog drinking fountain, a handful of benches, and mature trees giving decent shade over parts of the grass. A basic agility setup is on site if your dog likes a bit of structure. Poop bags are usually provided but it is worth carrying your own as a backup. There is no toilet block attached to the dog park area, and some visitors note there is no separate small-dog section, so it suits confident dogs more than nervous small ones.
Getting there. The park is on Harvey Court, off the Riverbank Estate area, with free parking near the entrance. Caboolture train station is the nearest transit hub, but a car is the practical way to get here.
Nearby with the dogs. Gavel and Grind on Morayfield Road is a short drive away for a coffee with your dog on the footpath after a run. Centenary Lakes Park and Caboolture River Park both offer further on-leash walking options nearby.

Weekday afternoons from four to six and weekend mornings are the busiest windows. Mid-week, mid-morning is your best bet for a quiet run. Good for confident, social dogs who want space to actually move.
