Dogs join you at the outdoor tables; the indoor dining room is for diners without dogs. Keep your dog on the lead and settled beside the table, and bring your own water bowl because the venue does not advertise one. The outdoor setup is not always out and arranged, so call ahead before setting out, especially on a weeknight when the terrace may be quiet or closed up.

Worth knowing

The menu runs from butter chicken and dal makhani to chaats, dahi bhalla and veg manchurian, with diners regularly pointing to the methi malai paneer, kadai paneer and fresh butter naan. Portions are generous and the feel is family-friendly, which suits a relaxed dinner with a well-mannered dog. Trading is dinner-only Monday to Friday from 5pm to 11pm, with lunch and dinner on weekends from 11am to 11pm, and there is a weekend lunch service with Amritsari kulcha specials. Bookings are recommended for Friday and weekend dinner.

Getting there and parking

The restaurant sits in the Ramlegh Boulevard shopping strip in Clyde North, with parking along the boulevard and around the shops. It is an easy stop if you are walking the neighbourhood with the dog already.

Close by with the dogs

For a proper off-lead run before dinner, the Selandra Rise Fenced Dog Park and the Dablam Street Fenced Dog Park are both a short drive away.
