Gourmet Grill

Gourmet Grill was a casual all-day diner at 4/5 Canopus Street in Bridgeman Downs, known for burgers, fish and chips and a solid vegetarian selection. It is no longer trading: the Uber Eats listing now marks the store permanently closed, and the shop was part of the Canopus Street local strip that has seen tenancy changes. Its online ordering page is still hosted but no longer reflects an operating business.

Why it is listed

The grill earned its local following on the strength of its burgers (the Hot Texan was the signature order), the chicken BLT and a well-liked caramel slice, with dogs welcome at the outdoor tables and free parking out front. If you knew it, that is the spot you remember. If you are heading there now, the kitchen has shut and the address has been flagged for a new tenancy, so there is nothing to visit.

Pepsi: skip the old listing and take the dog to one of the cafes that has picked up the neighbourhood trade instead.

The suburb still works well as a dog outing. Coolabah Crescent Park Dog Off Leash Area is the local off-leash run with open green space and drinking water, and for coffee afterward Keeper Coffee and ATLAS KAFFE both operate in the same pocket of Bridgeman Downs.
