Bleakley Park Fenced Dog Park

Bleakley Park is a fenced, off-leash dog park on Leitchs Road South in Albany Creek, run by the City of Moreton Bay. The double-gated entry is the main reason locals rate it: a secure airlock means you can let a bolter off without worrying about the road.

The rules. Dogs can be off-leash inside the fenced area but must stay under effective voice control. Keep your dog leashed until both gates are closed behind you, clean up after it using the bins provided, and pull it out promptly if play turns to conflict.

What's there. Full perimeter fencing, a double-gated entrance, a water station, bins, and shaded bench seating for owners. There is an outdoor fitness area alongside and a path linking through to nearby parkland. Shade over the run itself is limited, so it warms up in summer.

Getting there. It is on Leitchs Road South with off-street parking at the site. Buses along Albany Creek Road stop within walking distance.

When to go. Weekday mid-mornings and late afternoons are calmer; weekends draw a bigger, mixed crowd of small and large dogs, so read the room before you enter. In summer, aim for the cooler ends of the day given the thin shade, and bring water even though there is a station on site.
