Coolabah Crescent Park is a small, shaded off-leash area in Bridgeman Downs, tucked into a quiet residential pocket off Karri Place. It suits a local top-up walk rather than a destination trip: mature trees for shade, a dog water trough, and a genuinely off-leash zone once you're through the gate.
The rules. The area is managed by Brisbane City Council. Dogs need to stay within the designated off-leash zone and under your direct control, and back on the leash in the surrounding park, particularly near the creek. Pick up after your dog and use the bins provided. Registration and vaccination are standard council requirements, as with any Brisbane off-leash area.
What's there. A handful of metal benches, a covered seating area, a wide water trough, and two entry points into the fenced zone. Shade cover is good, though the grass can turn muddy after heavy rain.
Getting there. Access is via Karri Place, with street parking nearby. There is no train service to the door; the nearest bus stops are on Albany Creek Road or Beckett Road, a short walk from the park.
Nearby with the dogs. Keeper Coffee and ATLAS KAFFE are both a few minutes away on Canopus Street and welcome dogs on their outdoor seating, good for a coffee stop either side of the walk.

Weekday mid-mornings are the quiet window; weekends and after-work hours draw the most dogs into a fairly compact space. Good for a short leg-stretch on the way through the suburb rather than a long session.
