Taka Boys

Taka Boys is an Italian-influenced bar and restaurant at 203 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, directly across from the Noosa River. It opens early for coffee and runs through to the evening as a cocktail bar and eatery, and dogs are welcome out front on the terrace.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the front footpath and terrace seating, a breezy spot facing the river. Staff are known to be friendly to dogs and water bowls are often provided, but bring your own to be safe. The terrace is the calmest in the early morning or mid-afternoon, away from the busy meal services.

Good to know. It is known for creative cocktails and a good happy hour, with Italian-influenced casual dishes from an aperitivo through to lunch or dinner, in a prime Gympie Terrace position. It is closed Wednesdays, so check before you head over.

Getting there. Free street parking runs along Gympie Terrace and gets busy, with some additional parking areas and paid spots nearby. It is very easy to reach on foot or by bike along the river walk.

Nearby with the dogs. The Noosaville foreshore walkway is straight across the road, and the off-leash sand at Noosa Spit (Noosa Woods) is a short drive away.
