Double Shot Noosa

Double Shot Noosa is a popular breakfast and lunch cafe at 3/239 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, directly opposite the Noosa River, and it is a regular stop for locals walking the waterfront strip with their dogs. The action is on the undercover front patio, with the river just across the road.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor, undercover seating along the front footpath and patio, and there is room for a dog to lie down while you eat. Staff are friendly to visiting dogs and regularly put out water bowls and the odd treat, but bring your own to be safe. The strip can be busy, so keep your dog settled close to the table.

The coffee gets consistent praise, the menu leans on fresh local ingredients, and the chilli scramble and corn fritters are regular orders. Hours are 6:30am to 2pm weekdays and 6:30am to 2:30pm on weekends. It is a busy spot at peak times, so a weekday visit is the easy one with a dog.

Street parking runs along Gympie Terrace and fills on weekends and school holidays, so arrive early or come on foot. If you are already walking the river path, the cafe is directly on it, which is the way most regulars arrive.

The Noosa River foreshore walk is straight across the road, and the Shorehaven Park off-leash area gives your dog a proper run nearby. Weyba Creek Park is another quiet stretch for a leashed wander, and First Batch Coffee Roasters is up the strip for a second coffee.
