Weyba Creek Park is a designated off-leash dog exercise area on the foreshore of Weyba Creek, between Lake Weyba Drive and the South Pacific Resort boundary. It is a shady, tranquil spot where dogs can run on grass and paddle in shallow, calm creek water, away from the busier riverfront crowds.
The rules. Dogs are off-leash within the marked stretch but must stay under effective voice control at all times. Keep them inside the designated boundaries and away from local birdlife, which the foreshore is home to. The area is not fenced and runs straight onto the water, so close supervision is needed near the creek. Bins and bags are provided, and cleaning up is mandatory.
The water. The creek is generally shallow and calm, which makes it good for paddling and gentle swimming rather than surf play. Water levels shift with the tide, so mid-to-high tide is the better window if your dog wants to get in.
What's there. Extensive grassy foreshore for running, plenty of large trees for shade, a few picnic benches, and street parking along Lake Weyba Drive.
Getting there. Access is via Lake Weyba Drive in Noosaville, with street parking nearby. It also connects to the Eenie Creek walking and bike path if you are arriving on foot or by bike. The Gympie Terrace cafe strip is a short drive away.

Early mornings and late afternoons are the busiest. For a calmer visit, come mid-morning or early afternoon on a weekday, and aim for mid-to-high tide if swimming is the plan. Good for dogs who like shade and a quiet paddle over open beach.
