Elysium off leash dog park

Elysium is a small, fully fenced off-leash dog park inside the Elysium residential estate at Noosa Heads, accessed off Bumpy Ash Lane. Fully fenced is the point: there are not many enclosed dog parks in the Noosa shire, so this is a useful spot for small dogs, recall training, or any dog that needs a secure boundary rather than the open river beach.

The rules. Open 24/7, with dogs to be supervised and responsive to voice commands while off-leash. Because the enclosure is small, keep an eye on the gate and your dog at all times. Dogs must be registered and tagged, and regulated or dangerous dogs are not permitted. Pick up after your dog and use the bins provided.

What's there. A fenced grassy area with council waste bags and bins, plus a small patch of grass for owners. There are no public toilets and no dedicated water station on site, so bring your own water and bowl.

Getting there. Drive in via Eenie Creek Road into the Elysium estate and park on the street along Bumpy Ash Lane. There is little direct bus service, so driving is easiest.

Max: The park is small, so if it is already busy with large or boisterous dogs and yours is timid, wait it out or walk the nearby Eenie Creek Pathway instead.

Quietest late morning on weekdays; weekend mornings and after 3:30pm are the busiest. If it is crowded, the Noosa Spit dog beach offers a large open alternative.
