Elysium off leash dog park

Elysium is a small, fully fenced off-leash dog park inside the Elysium residential estate at Noosa Heads, accessed off Bumpy Ash Lane. Fully fenced is the whole point: enclosed dog parks are scarce in the Noosa shire, which makes this a practical pick for small dogs, recall training, or any dog that needs a secure boundary rather than an open reserve.

The dog setup

The enclosure is a compact grassed run with waste bags and bins provided, open around the clock. Dogs must be registered and wearing their council tag, supervised and responsive to voice commands while off lead, and regulated or dangerous dogs are not permitted anywhere in the space.

Because the park is small, watch the gate on the way in and out so nothing slips past, and keep close tabs on interactions. There are no public toilets and no dedicated water station, so bring your own water and bowl, especially in the warmer months.

The vibe

This is a locals' training and quick-run space rather than a destination park, and its size shapes everything: it fills fast and it empties fast. Late morning on weekdays is the quiet window, while weekend mornings and the after-school stretch from about 3:30pm are the busiest. If it is crowded with large or boisterous dogs and yours is timid, wait it out or come back later.

Getting there

Drive in via Eenie Creek Road into the Elysium estate and park on the street along Bumpy Ash Lane. There is little direct bus service, so driving is the realistic option. Noosa Spit and the river mouth dog areas sit a short drive away if you want open space after a session here.

Max: the park is tiny, so if it is already busy with big dogs and yours is timid, wait it out or walk the Eenie Creek Pathway instead.
