Berry Keeper

Berry Keeper is a small, nature-inspired health cafe inside Noosa Fair Shopping Centre at 3 Lanyana Way, Noosa Heads, built around organic acai bowls, smoothies, coffee and toasties. It is a natural stop on the way back from the beach or a walk at Noosa Spit, and its setting inside the centre shapes how a visit with your dog works: this is more of a grab-and-go or short perch than a long, lazy sit-down.

The dog setup

Because the cafe sits within the shopping centre, the seating that works for dogs is the small area immediately outside the shopfront along the centre's walkway, which is generally fine for a well-behaved dog on lead. The indoor space is not the place for a dog, so treat the shopfront spot as your table. Staff are welcoming to four-legged visitors, but bring your own water bowl rather than expecting one on hand. If your plan is a long brunch, this is not that spot; if it is a smoothie run either side of a walk, it fits neatly.

Worth knowing

The menu leans hard into the healthy end: acai bowls, natural smoothies with names like Kookaburra Dreams, cold-pressed style juices, protein balls and vegan and gluten-free treats, plus gourmet toasties for something more substantial. Coffee is a genuine part of the offering rather than an afterthought. It opens from 7:30am on weekdays and 8am Saturdays and closes early afternoon, and it is closed Sundays, so plan around a morning visit.

Getting there and parking

Noosa Fair has free customer parking, which takes the stress out of a quick stop with the dog in the car. On foot, the centre is a five to ten minute walk from Noosa Junction station side, and an easy wander from Hastings Street if you are already down that end.

Make a day of it

The obvious pairing is water: the Noosa Heads dog beach on the Spit lets dogs swim and run off lead on the riverside, and it is a short drive away with parking along Claude Batten Drive.
