MOTO on Noosa Drive is part specialty coffee shop, part craft beer bar and part custom motorcycle workshop, and the combination works: custom-built bikes line the space, the MOTO Roast is made with local Clandestino Roasters beans, and well behaved dogs are welcome at the front. It is a locals' hangout on the edge of Noosa Junction, away from the Hastings Street crowds.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the rustic street-side seating at the front. Indoor space is limited, so plan to sit outside, and bring your own water bowl as one is not guaranteed at every table. The footpath setting means the lead stays on, but staff are genuinely friendly to dogs and it is a popular pit stop for locals walking through the Junction.

The vibe

Mornings run to a casual brunch menu with bacon and egg rolls, avo on toast and banana bread, and the coffee is the main event. It trades as a cafe from about 6:30am to midday, then shifts into a bar with Australian gin, rum and craft beer on select evenings, with the occasional open mic or live music night. Getting there and parking

Street parking is available on Noosa Drive and around Noosa Junction, though it gets tight in holiday season. The Junction sits a short uphill walk from Hastings Street, so it works well as a coffee break partway through a longer stroll.

Close by with the dogs
