Ewing Park Fenced Dog Park

Ewing Park gives Woodridge a fully fenced off-leash option with separate large and small dog zones, mature shade trees and enough shared park around it to turn a quick run into a proper outing.

The dog setup

The enclosure is perimeter fenced and split for big and little dogs, with grassed running space, benches and shade from established trees. Keep your dog leashed until you are both through the gate, then it is off-lead under active supervision.

Logan City Council expects owners to maintain voice control, bin the waste (poo bags are provided on site) and remove any dog showing aggression straight away. Restricted or declared dangerous dogs stay on-leash. Water taps sit in the enclosure, though carry a portable bowl and check the tap is running, availability can be patchy.

The vibe

The wider Ewing Park complex around the enclosure adds netball courts, a skate area, volleyball, fitness equipment, BBQs and public toilets including an accessible facility. It is a busy community park, so expect company: weekday evenings from about 4pm and weekend mornings are the peak windows.

Worth knowing: the whole off-leash surface is natural grass, and it holds water. After heavy rain give it a day or two to dry or plan on muddy paws and a bath at home.

Getting there and parking

The park is on Ewing Road, Woodridge, reachable off the Logan Motorway or Kingston Road, with on-site parking. Buses through Woodridge also get you close, and the off-leash area is open around the clock.

Roll the visit into a Logan coffee run: the Good Neighbour Cafe in Kingston and Extraction Artisan Coffee in Slacks Creek are both nearby dog-friendly stops. If you want a second fenced run, the small and large dog areas at Springwood Dog Park are a short drive away.
