What visitors mention
Bangalla Park's fenced dog park at 1 Bangalla Drive is Springwood's main off-leash option: a fully fenced Logan City Council facility with separate small-dog and large-dog enclosures. It is a handy local rather than a destination park - fine for a daily run and a social sniff, modest in size and amenities.
The rules. Off-leash applies only inside the fenced enclosures; dogs stay on-leash in the rest of Bangalla Park. Logan City Council's standard off-leash conditions apply: keep your dog under effective control at all times, pick up immediately, and leash and remove any dog showing aggression. Pick the enclosure that matches your dog's size.
What's there. Two enclosures, basic seating, bins and dog waste bag dispensers - reviewers confirm the bags but it pays to carry backups. Shade is patchy, so summer afternoons run hot, and the ground gets muddy after decent rain. The wider park has a picnic area if you are making a longer stop.

Nearby with the dogs. Springwood's dog-friendly cafes are about five minutes away - Pour First does puppychinos at its footpath tables and Roundabout Espresso welcomes dogs in its shaded outdoor area. Daisy Hill Conservation Park's on-leash bush trails are also close by for a proper walk.
When to go. Quietest mid-morning on weekdays and on Sunday evenings; expect a crowd on Saturday mornings and on weekday afternoons once work lets out. Best for social dogs that want company more than space - big runners will finish the laps quickly.
