Lady's Dog Park

Lady's Dog Park on Maranda Street is a small, fully fenced off-leash park in a quiet Shailer Park residential pocket, open 24 hours and built for a quick run rather than a long visit.

The rules. Dogs must be supervised by an adult at all times and kept on-lead until you're through the gate, then leashes and loose harnesses should come off inside to avoid tangles. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs, using the bins provided. Female dogs in season and any regulated breeds are not permitted, and dogs should be vaccinated before visiting. If play gets too rough, pull your dog out for a breather.

What's there. The park is fully fenced with a covered, shaded seating area, picnic tables and benches, a water station for dogs, and waste bags and bins. Entry is wheelchair accessible. Grass cover is patchy in spots, so it suits a training session or a fetch break more than a big off-leash run.

Getting there. It sits just off Bryants Road with street parking nearby, and local bus routes along Bryants Road stop within a short walk.

Nearby with the dogs. The Foxy Coffee in nearby Loganholme is a short drive away and popular with dog walkers, and Loganholme Dog Park and Daisy Hill Trails are both close enough to combine with a visit here.

Go early on a weekday for a calm session, or embrace the Sunday crowd if your dog is social. Good for a short, secure off-leash break rather than a big-dog run.
