What visitors mention
Riverdale Park Fenced Dog Park sits within the larger Riverdale Park on Evans Road in Meadowbrook, right along the Logan River. It has separate fenced enclosures for large and small dogs, which makes it one of the more useful off-leash stops in the Logan area if your dog needs space to actually run rather than a footpath sniff.
The rules. Off-leash access applies only inside the fenced enclosures. Everywhere else in the wider Riverdale Park, including the walking tracks, dogs must stay on-leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, and you're expected to keep your dog in sight and under control at all times. Use the size-appropriate enclosure: the split between large and small dog areas is there for a reason.
What's there. Both enclosures are securely fenced with shaded seating for owners and some agility equipment for dogs that like a bit of a workout. The broader park adds public toilets, picnic tables, electric and gas barbecues, and a dinosaur-themed playground, so it's easy to turn a dog walk into a family outing. Wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking are provided.
Getting there. The park is at 110 Evans Rd, Meadowbrook, with parking available near the entrance. Loganlea train station is a short trip away if you're coming without a car. A roughly 2.7-kilometre loop trail runs through the wider park for an on-leash walk before or after off-leash time.
Nearby with the dogs. Cafes in Meadowbrook Shopping Centre, about five minutes' drive away, have outdoor seating where dogs are generally welcome, including The Coffee Club Meadowbrook. For dog parks further along the Logan corridor, Sturdee Park Fenced Dog Park in Loganlea and Alexander Clark Park Fenced Dog Park in Loganholme are both a short drive away.

When to go. Sunday and Wednesday afternoons tend to be busiest. Weekday mornings, Thursday nights and Friday nights are quieter if your dog prefers fewer strangers around. Good for dogs that need a proper off-leash run rather than just a walk.
