The Foxy Coffee

The Foxy Coffee is a well-liked breakfast and coffee spot in the Loganholme Village Shopping Centre precinct off Bryants Road, with a reputation built on stacks, fritters and staff who remember the regulars. It opens at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends, and the covered outdoor seating takes dogs.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the shaded outdoor area, which has the room and cover to make a longer sit workable in both summer sun and drizzle. As with most Queensland cafes the inside is people-only, so plan on an outdoor table. A communal water bowl is not guaranteed on busy mornings, so bring your own to be safe. The crowd is brunch-heavy on weekends; a dog that is fine with bustle will love it, a shy one will prefer a weekday.

Worth knowing

The food is the reason people drive here: the bacon stack and brisket stack are the signature orders, with eggs benedict, french toast and the Foxy fritters all getting repeat praise, and gluten-free options covered. Coffee holds its own against the kitchen. Hours run to 2pm weekdays and 1pm on weekends, so it is a breakfast-and-lunch operation rather than an afternoon one.

Getting there and parking

Bryants Road sits just off the Pacific Motorway at Loganholme, with plenty of car parking through the shopping centre precinct. Arrival is easy and the walk from the car is short, which helps with an excited dog.

Make a day of it

Alexander Clark Park Fenced Dog Park is minutes away along the Logan River for a proper off-lead session before breakfast. If the Foxy tables are full, Fold & Rise Cafe is another Loganholme option for dogs outdoors.
