Turnock Park

Turnock Park is a quiet suburban park on Levington Road, Underwood, with a fenced off-leash area that mostly serves the streets around it. This is a local's park rather than a destination, and that is its strength: a reliable, low-drama daily run on grass for the dogs of the neighbourhood.

The dog setup

Off-leash applies inside the fenced dog area only. Leash up everywhere else in the park, including around the children's playground, and keep the dog under effective control throughout. Logan City Council conditions apply: dogs must be registered, waste picked up immediately, and dogs in season and declared dangerous dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas. Inside the fence there is basic agility equipment and park benches, with no confirmed water tap, so bring your own bottle and bowl.

Turnock Park sits on Levington Road in Underwood, south of the Pacific Motorway between Springwood and Mount Gravatt. Street parking on Levington Road and the surrounding residential streets is usually easy. Buses run along nearby Logan Road, but this is mostly a walk-or-drive local park.
