Loffs Road Fenced Dog Park is a large open grassed off leash park in Westlake, in Brisbane's Centenary suburbs, with mature trees for shade and a strong base of regulars who show up at the same times each day. It is fully fenced with self-closing gates, which makes it one of the reliable enclosed options on Brisbane's west for dogs that need a secure run.

The dog setup

Inside the fence the rules still apply: dogs must stay under effective control, you need to remain inside the enclosure and actively supervise, and any dog showing aggression or overly rough behaviour is leashed and taken out. Bags and bins are on site and cleanup is expected. The double gate setup works well but only if everyone latches it behind them, so check the gates close as you enter, and glance along the fence line for the digging holes that enthusiastic dogs occasionally start.

Facilities cover the basics well: agility gear for a structured session, water for the bowl, and covered seating where owners tend to gather. Ground turns muddy fast after rain, so keep a towel in the car.

This is a social park with a genuine local community, and first-timers with a settled dog usually get folded into the regulars quickly. Mid morning and early weekday afternoons are the calmest windows. The park sits on Loffs Road in Westlake, easiest to reach off the Centenary Motorway via the Sinnamon Park or Jindalee exits. Parking is street-side along Loffs Road. Bus stops on Riverhills Road connect to TransLink services with a short walk.
