Harris Gully Reserve is a natural bushland off-leash reserve on Harris Gully Road, Warrandyte, with unsealed tracks through the bush and a quieter feel than the main River Reserve. It suits dogs that like to nose around a bushy, low-key walk.

The rules. Off-leash with your dog under effective voice or hand control, and carry a lead at all times. Leads are required within 15 metres of playgrounds, BBQs and picnic areas. This is an unfenced reserve, so keep recall in mind. Pick up after your dog and confirm current boundaries on Manningham Council signage.

What's there. Natural unsealed walking tracks and street parking along Harris Gully Road. Toilets and BBQ facilities are over in the wider River Reserve and Stiggant Reserve areas rather than here, so plan accordingly.

It is bushland, so after rain expect mud, and in warmer months watch for snakes and keep your dog on the track.

When to go. Busiest on weekend mornings; weekday evenings are quiet. Bring a towel if your dog finds water nearby.
