Waikiki Dog park

Waikiki Dog Park, also known as Seahaven Reserve Fenced Dog Park, is a secure, fully fenced off-leash facility at the corner of Chalmers Avenue and Charthouse Road. The draw is its dual-zone design, a dedicated small dog area and a separate all-dog area, so you can match the space to your dog's size and confidence.

The rules. Off-leash does not mean unmanaged here. Dogs must be under voice control at all times, even inside the fencing. What is there. Both zones mix grassed areas with mulched timber. There is a "King of the Castle" platform, a "Tunnel Hideout" with pipes, and a sand pile for digging. Dog-suitable water fountains are on site, and covered seating with some shade lets owners watch comfortably.

Getting there. The address is 2 Chalmers Ave, Waikiki WA 6169. Street parking runs along Chalmers Avenue and near Charthouse Road. By car, access via Read St or Malibu Rd, turning into Charthouse Rd. By public transport, it is a short bus ride or a 15 to 20 minute walk from Warnbro Train Station on the Mandurah Line. The park sits on high ground, so tides do not affect it, worth remembering if you head to the coast afterward.

Crowd management. Peak times are Sunday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and Saturday mornings. For a calmer visit, aim for Monday afternoons, Tuesday or Thursday afternoons and evenings, or late on a Sunday.

Make a day of it. Combine your visit with an off-leash swim at Warnbro Dog Beach, a coffee at Bean at the Beach, or a meal at The Warnbro Tavern.

Avoid the Saturday and Sunday morning rush if your dog prefers space. This park suits owners of small or anxious dogs who want secure boundaries and the flexibility of separate play zones.
