What visitors mention
Seahaven Reserve Fenced Dog Park sits on the corner of Chalmers Avenue and Charthouse Road in Waikiki, a short walk from Waikiki Village Shopping Centre. It is a fully enclosed, off-leash exercise area open 24 hours, split into two separate yards so boisterous and timid dogs are not forced to share a fence line.
The rules. Dogs come off-leash once you are through the gate, but the reserve around the fenced area is on-leash territory, so clip back on before you leave the yard. Entry runs through a double-gate airlock system built to stop dogs slipping out while you are still fumbling with the first gate. Owners are expected to keep voice control over their dogs and stay inside the enclosure with them the whole time, not park themselves on a bench outside. Pick up after your dog, bins are provided, and any dog showing aggression should be removed straight away.
What's there. Each yard has agility extras including a tunnel and a small climbing platform, sand piles for diggers, established trees for shade, water fountains with bowls, and benches for owners. The small-dog and large-dog sections are separately fenced, so it is a genuinely workable option if you are minding a nervy little dog alongside a boisterous one.
Getting there. Free street parking is available along Chalmers Avenue and the surrounding streets, though it fills up on weekend mornings. Transperth buses run along Charthouse Road and Safety Bay Road nearby, so check the JourneyPlanner for the closest stop if you are coming without a car.

Nearby with the dogs. Pengo's Cafe in nearby Shoalwater is known to be dog-friendly with water bowls out, a reasonable stop before or after a park visit.
Weekday late mornings are the quietest window if your dog needs space. Saturday and Sunday mornings draw the biggest crowd, so aim for the afternoon lull if you would rather avoid the rush.
