Eprapah Dog Park

Eprapah Dog Park is a fully fenced off-leash area within the Victoria Point Bushland Refuge on School Road, set along the Eprapah Creek corridor in Redland City. It trades big open ovals for a quiet, shady bushland setting with separate enclosures, which suits dogs who prefer calm company over busy crowds.

The dog setup

The park runs an airlock double-gate system into separate sections for small and large dogs, with basic agility equipment in both. Shade shelters and seating cover the owners, and a water tap with a bowl plus eco-sac doggy bag dispensers and bins sit on site. Off-leash applies strictly inside the fenced areas; keep the lead on through the airlock and across the surrounding bushland tracks and car park.

Worth knowing

Redland City Council rules apply: stay inside the yard with your dog and keep it under effective control, and unsupervised children should not be in the off-leash zones. Regulated dogs, meaning declared dangerous or menacing dogs, are not permitted at any time. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of playground or fitness equipment, and the bushland here is wildlife habitat, including koalas in adjacent corridors, so interrupt any chasing immediately and keep the walk-in on lead.

Max: shady, gated and split by dog size, with koala country right next door. Keep your dog focused on the yard, not the treeline.

Getting there

The refuge is accessed from School Road, Victoria Point, with parking at the parkland entrances. Victoria Point's shopping precinct and the Cleveland line buses are a short drive away, and the boat ramp and foreshore are further down the peninsula.

Close by with the dogs

Les Moore Park Fenced Dog Park is the other Victoria Point enclosure, and Manning Esplanade Park Fenced Dog Park sits between here and Cleveland. For water dogs, Raby Bay Dog Beach is 15 minutes north, and The Park Social in Redland Bay spoils visiting dogs with puppuccinos.
