Main Street Park is a fully fenced, off-leash dog area on Main Street in Redland Bay, within the Moogurrapum Creek corridor. It has open, even grass that suits ball work, decent shade for hot days, and a double-gated entry, which makes it a reliable everyday option.

The rules. Dogs may run off-leash inside the fenced area. Carry a lead and keep your dog under voice control, and clean up immediately. The entry is a double-gated airlock, so close one gate behind you before opening the next.

What's there. Bench seating, a water trough for dogs, a waste bin, and a bag dispenser, though it is worth carrying your own bags in case it runs dry. The area is well lit, so it works for an evening visit.

Getting there. The park is at 269 Main St, Redland Bay, near the corner of Gordon Road. There is free street parking adjacent, and bus stops run along Main Street.

When to go. It is busiest on weekday evenings, Friday late afternoons and Saturday mornings, and quieter on Sundays and early weekday mornings. Being fenced and inland, it holds up as a wet-weather option when the foreshore is muddy.
