Point Talburpin Dog Park is a fenced, off-leash park right on the Redland Bay waterfront at Talburpin Esplanade. It is a smaller, quieter community park with bay views and gentle, well-drained slopes, which makes it a calm choice rather than a big high-energy run.

The rules. Dogs may be off-leash inside the fenced area, but you need to keep them under effective voice control and away from other people and dogs. Pick up after your dog; bins are provided. Any dog showing aggression should be leashed and removed.

What's there. Secure perimeter fencing with gates, bench seating, a water tap for dogs, and some tree cover. Shade is patchy in places, and a few visitors note mosquitoes can be about, so bring repellent in the warmer months.

Getting there. The park is on the corner of Talburpin Esplanade, Redland Bay. There is street parking nearby, including an accessible bay. Local Redland Bay bus routes run within a short walk.

When to go. It is generally quietest on Sunday mornings and weekday evenings, and busier on Sunday afternoons and Saturday evenings. Visit at high tide for the views; low tide opens mudflats below, which are best avoided with a dog that loves a mess.
