Les Moore Park Fenced Dog Park

Les Moore Park Fenced Dog Park runs along Wilson Esplanade in Victoria Point, a Redland City Council off-leash area right on the Moreton Bay waterfront near the Eprapah Creek corridor. It pairs a secure, fully fenced yard with foreshore paths, which is a rare combination on this stretch of the bayside.

The dog setup

The perimeter is fully fenced with a double-gate airlock entry, and inside there is a generous run with seating and a shelter for owners, water bowls and bins. An eco-sac dispenser usually stocks waste bags, and there is basic agility equipment if your dog needs more than a flat sprint.

Council rules apply: keep your dog under effective voice or hand control, carry a leash at all times, and close both gates behind you. Dogs must not chase or rush at people or other animals, and regulated dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas.

Worth knowing

The park is open daily from 7am to 7pm. Weekday late afternoons after 4pm and weekend mornings draw the biggest crowd, so mid-week mornings are your quietest window, and in summer an early or dusk visit is easier on the dogs than the midday humidity.

Parts of the Redlands still carry koala habitat, so it is worth a glance at the trees before unclipping. The wider Les Moore Park has a playground, BBQs, restrooms and outdoor gym equipment if the family is along.

Getting there

Access is via Colburn Avenue and Link Road, with street parking along Wilson Esplanade. It is tight, so if the esplanade is full, park a little further back and walk in rather than circling. Buses stop on Colburn Avenue within walking distance, and paved paths link the park to the waterside walks along Eprapah Creek.

Make a day of it

For a second fenced run, the Eprapah Creek Corridor Fenced Dog Park splits small and large dogs into separate yards a short drive west, or the Victoria Point Bushland Refuge Fenced Dog Park gives you a bushland option.
