Augustus Estate Fenced Dog Park on Scrub Hill Road is a purpose-built, fully fenced off-leash park in Urraween, with separate enclosures for small and large dogs.

The rules. Off-leash is fine inside the fenced enclosures only. Owners must stay with their dog and keep it under effective control, and pick up after them straight away using the bins provided.

What's there. Double-gated entries, water taps, basic agility equipment, shaded seating, and dog bag dispensers.

Getting there. Just off Augustus Boulevard and Scrub Hill Road, reached via Urraween Road from either Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road or the Esplanade. Parking is available near the entrance; there's no direct public transport to the gate.

The grass holds water after rain, so pack a towel if you're heading straight to the car.

Weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons tend to be quietest. Good for a smaller, low-key alternative to Urraween Dog Park a few streets over.
