South Dubbo Park Fenced Dog Park

South Dubbo Park Fenced Dog Park, on Palmer Street in South Dubbo, is the town's best-equipped off-leash area: a fully fenced, double-gated yard with agility gear, open 24 hours. If you want secure space where a dog can run flat out without a lead, this is the one to head for.

The rules. Inside the fence, dogs run off-leash under effective voice control. They stay on-lead outside the fenced area, and off-leash is not permitted on the surrounding sporting ovals. Clean up after your dog and bring your own bags, since dispensers can run empty. Make sure your dog is fully vaccinated; the council notes parvovirus risk in the region, so this matters more here than in some areas.
