What visitors mention
Riverbrae Off-Leash Dog Park on Riverbrae Avenue, also listed by Blacktown Council as Park 918, is a fully fenced park with two separate zones, a paved path, and an open field for a proper run. It is newer than some of the area's parks, well maintained, and community-focused rather than a bare paddock.
The rules. Dogs need to be under effective control at all times, even off-leash inside the fence. Pick up and bin droppings. Restricted or dangerous breeds are not permitted in the off-leash area, and gates should be closed behind you to keep the park secure.
What's there. A water refill station, covered seating in both fenced zones, a paved walking path, and open grass. There are no public toilets on site, so plan ahead. Street parking is available along Riverbrae Avenue.
Getting there. Reached off Riverbrae Avenue via Garfield Road West from Richmond Road or Windsor Road. Riverstone Station is the nearest train stop, about a five to ten minute drive or a 25 to 30 minute walk. The park and its path are generally wheelchair accessible.
Nearby with the dogs. The Vintage Pantry in Riverstone is worth a stop for a pet-friendly cafe atmosphere. Rouse Hill Town Centre, about ten minutes away, has further cafe options, and pet-friendly motels around Blacktown and Windsor are worth a call ahead if you need to stay over.

When to go. Weekday evenings from 5pm to 7pm and weekend mornings from 8am to 10am are the busiest. Mid-morning on a weekday is the quiet option if you want the run of the place.
