The rules. The whole park is fenced, so dogs can be off-leash inside, but they still need to be under effective voice control at all times. There is no separate small-dog area, so take care at busy times if you have a small or nervous dog. Local Translink bus routes run through the Ripley/Providence estate, though you will likely need to walk from the nearest stop on Ripley Road. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance.

Nearby with the dogs. Forty West Cafe, in the nearby Providence Sales Centre, generally allows dogs at its outdoor tables. Quest Springfield Central, roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, sometimes takes dogs with prior arrangement, so confirm at booking.

When to go. Weekend mornings and afternoons, plus weekday afternoons after 4pm, are the busiest. Weekday mid-mornings are quieter if your dog prefers the fenced space to itself.
