Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve's fenced dog park sits on Willow Road and is open 24 hours a day, with separate secure zones for small and large dogs plus agility equipment for dogs that need a job to do.
The rules. Dogs must be under effective voice control at all times, even inside the fenced area. Keep large and small dogs in their own zones, clean up immediately using the waste stations provided, and remove your dog straight away if it shows aggression toward another.
What's there. The reserve has covered gazebos and seating for owners, water taps and bowls for dogs, stocked poop-bag dispensers and bins, mature trees for shade, and lighting for evening visits. Parking is free and reasonably generous.
Getting there. The park sits within the main Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve complex off Willow Road, with a sealed car park right by the fenced entrance. The nearest bus stops are on Cedar Road, a short walk into the reserve.
Nearby with the dogs. Cafes with outdoor seating are around five minutes' drive away in the Redbank Plains town centre, with more options a little further in Augustine Heights and Brookwater. Pet-friendly accommodation is thin right in Redbank Plains itself, so check hotels around Ipswich or Springfield if you need a bed for the night.

When to go. Early mornings and late afternoons on weekdays draw the biggest crowds, and weekends get busy with dogs socialising. Midday on a weekday is your quietest window if your dog needs space. Good for confident dogs that enjoy company, with a fenced small-dog zone if yours prefers less chaos.
