Annalise Circuit Park Fenced Dog Park

Annalise Circuit Park Fenced Dog Park is a fenced off-leash run inside the Aura master-planned estate at Nirimba, near Baringa and Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. The pitch is simple: a secure perimeter fence that lets dogs run properly without you tracking every car and bike path beyond it.

Leash status

Off-leash applies only inside the fenced boundary under Sunshine Coast Council rules. Keep the lead on until you are through the entry and leash up again before stepping out onto the wider park paths. Owners stay inside the fence and supervise the whole time, aggressive dogs come out immediately, and bags and bins are on site, though bring your own supply as backup.

The dog setup

Inside the fence it is mostly open grass with a bit of structure: a grass mound with a tunnel, logs and rocks to clamber over, seating along the edge and a water tap. Shade is patchy, so in the warmer months the early morning and late afternoon slots are the comfortable ones. The run is not huge by estate standards, but the containment is what sells it for dogs who switch off near roads.

Max: the wider park is a family park first, so expect scooters and toddlers at the playground fence line. Leash discipline at the gate matters.

Getting there and parking

Turn off Splendour Street and park on Kate Crescent, which runs alongside the park. Aura's pedestrian and cycle paths connect through the estate if you are walking in from nearby streets, and TransLink bus stops through Aura put you within a short stroll.

Worth knowing

Outside the fence but close by there are public toilets, water fountains, picnic shelters with barbecues, a playground and a flying fox, which makes this an easy dual-purpose outing with kids. The surface drains reasonably well but low spots can hold water after a wet spell.

Close by with the dogs

The Baringa Forest Park Fenced Dog Park is the other fenced run in the same estate, and the Little Mountain Common Fenced Dog Park is worth the drive for a bigger circuit. For coffee, Rhythm Espresso and Capo Cafe are both in Baringa. If you are staying over, the Moffat Beach Motel is a dog friendly option down the hill in Caloundra.
