What visitors mention
Little Mountain Common Fenced Dog Park is a large, fully fenced off-leash area at the northern end of Little Mountain Common on Raintree Boulevard, one of the better-equipped dog parks on this stretch of the Sunshine Coast. Separate zones for small and large dogs, agility gear, and mature shade trees make it worth the detour even if you don't live nearby.
The rules. The park sits inside Sunshine Coast Council land and follows standard off-leash conditions: dogs must stay on lead until you're through the double gates, then under effective voice control once loose. Pick up after your dog (bins are provided), keep dogs in heat away from the park, and declared restricted or dangerous breeds aren't permitted off-leash here.
What's there. Both dog zones have ramps and low obstacles for informal agility play, shelter sheds and benches for owners, and water fountains or bowls for dogs. The double-gate entry system stops dogs bolting while you're getting the lead off. It backs onto the wider Little Mountain Common, which adds a playground, skate park, toilets and an 800 metre bitumen loop path if you want to extend the visit beyond the fenced area.
Getting there. There's a free paved car park directly off Raintree Boulevard, and if you're walking from the surrounding streets there are pedestrian entries off Earls Court and Phar Lap Court. Bus stops on Sunset Drive and Raintree Boulevard are within a short walk, but this is really a drive-to park for most visitors.

Nearby with the dogs. For a coffee afterwards, One Table Cafe in Little Mountain is a five minute drive and takes dogs on its outdoor tables. If your dog handles water, the off-leash stretch at Currimundi Beach is about ten minutes away.
When to go. Early mornings and weekend mornings draw the biggest crowds; mid-week late mornings to early afternoon are the quiet window. Good for dogs that need proper off-lead space rather than a small suburban pen, thanks to the separate size zones and the agility gear.
