Capo Café

Capo Cafe is a warehouse-style coffee bar at 49 Edison Crescent in the Aura Business Park, Baringa, run by the team behind Honcho Coffee Supplies out of their showroom. It trades Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2:30pm, and has quietly become the weekday morning stop for the Aura estate, with the Baringa Forest Park Fenced Dog Park just down the road for the off-leash leg of the trip.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, where the tables are split between sun and shade. Keep your dog on a leash while you are seated and settled. Water bowls are generally put out, though it is worth carrying your own on busy mornings. There is no dedicated dog menu or puppuccino listed, so bring your own treats if your dog expects to be paid. Outdoor tables are limited, so if the breakfast rush is on, ask staff before counting on a spot.

Coffee and the menu

The house blends are Capo Boss and Capo Ricco, roasted locally and pulled by baristas who get steady praise in reviews. Food is quick cafe fare done properly: breakfast plates, light bites and the Big Brekky Burger that keeps locals coming back. Because it sits inside a coffee machine and accessory showroom, you can browse brewing gear while you wait, and staff can talk you through home setups. Weekends are closed, so plan the dog-and-coffee circuit for a weekday.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits in the Aura Business Park off Edison Crescent, with free parking directly outside and step-free access. The estate's wide shared paths connect the business park to the surrounding streets, so walking in from nearby Baringa is easy.

Close by with the dogs

Baringa Forest Park's off-leash enclosure on Eden Drive is fully fenced with separate small and large dog areas, right beside the Blackbutt forest walk and boardwalks. If you are making a cafe run of it, Rhythm Espresso on Packer Road is the other dog-friendly coffee stop in Baringa, and Nurcha Kawana covers the plant-based brunch end of things a short drive south.
