Bayes Park Fenced Dog Park sits on Bayes Road in Logan Reserve as part of the wider Bayes Park recreation area, a fully fenced off-leash space separate from the better-known Riverview Road park across the suburb. It is a neighbourhood-scale run that serves the surrounding estate, with the usual Logan City Council off-leash rules attached.

The dog setup

Off-leash applies inside the fence only; dogs stay leashed everywhere else in Bayes Park. Council expects effective voice control even within the enclosure, immediate clean-up using the bag dispensers and bins provided, and leashing plus removal straight away if a dog shows aggression. Dogs should be vaccinated and registered with Logan City Council before socialising here, and declared dangerous or menacing dogs are not permitted. Unvaccinated puppies are better left at home.

Inside the fence you get shaded seating for owners, a water station or bowls and the bag dispensers. Top up your own bottle on hot days as a backup. The broader park adds picnic tables and open lawn if you want to linger after the run.

Max: the park backs onto reserve bushland, so check your dog over for ticks after a run and stay alert for snakes in the warmer months.

The park sits within the Logan Reserve estate, best reached by car off the Mount Lindesay Highway or Logan Motorway onto local streets. Public transport is thin this far in; the nearest train stations are at Bethania or Kingston, both needing a connecting bus or rideshare.
