The rules. Bayes Park Fenced Dog Park sits on Bayes Road in Logan Reserve as part of the wider Bayes Park recreation area, a fully fenced off-leash space separate from the Riverview Road park across the suburb. Dogs need voice control at all times even inside the fence, must be leashed outside the boundary, and owners are required to clean up after them straight away. Any dog showing aggression needs to be removed immediately, and council expects dogs to be vaccinated and registered before they socialise here.
What's there. The fenced area has shaded seating for owners, a water station or bowls (worth topping up your own bottle on hot days as a backup), and poo bag dispensers with bins. The broader Bayes Park grounds add picnic tables and open lawn if you want to hang around after the off-leash run.
Getting there. It sits within the Logan Reserve estate, best reached by car off the Mount Lindesay Highway or Logan Motorway onto local streets. Public transport is limited this far in; the nearest train stations are at Bethania or Kingston, both needing a connecting bus or rideshare.

Nearby. St Coco Cafe in Daisy Hill has a dog-friendly patio with puppuccinos, and Distillery Road Market in Eagleby welcomes dogs in its Market Hall and outdoor dining.
When to go: before 7.30am or after 4.30pm on weekdays is when locals bring dogs before or after work, so expect more company then. Weekday mid-morning to early afternoon is the quiet window for a nervous dog.
