Seaton Park

Seaton Park on Fletcher Road in Lesmurdie is a straightforward, no-fuss suburban off-leash park. The main draw is its generous open grass, giving dogs room to sprint and play ball without the structure or fencing of a dedicated dog exercise facility.

Getting there. Turn off Lesmurdie Road or Crystal Brook Road onto Fletcher Road. If you are coming by bus, Transperth routes service nearby stops along Lesmurdie Road. For a coffee afterwards, Old Mates Cafe in Kalamunda is about five minutes away by car and welcomes dogs in the outdoor area. If you are staying in the hills, Quiet Escapes in Mundaring is a nearby pet-friendly option.

When to go. Mid-morning on weekdays is the quietest window, as the park gets busy during school drop-off and pick-up times plus weekend afternoons. Aim for a focused 30-minute session of ball work to make the most of the space.
