Frys Reserve is a fully fenced, 24/7 off-leash dog park on Warialda Street in Kogarah, a short walk from the train station. The draw is a secure perimeter with jacaranda trees for shade and a calm, local feel, and the ground was reworked in 2025 with a firmer surface and a concrete access path.

The rules. Off-leash any time inside the fence, but your dog still needs to be under effective control. Clean up after your dog using the bins provided. The fencing is solid after the 2025 upgrade, though owners have historically flagged the odd gap, so keep a determined escape artist in view rather than trusting the gate alone.

What's there. A water station for dogs, bench seating for owners, some basic agility items, and bins. Shade comes mainly from the surrounding trees, so it thins out in high summer. The surface drains better since the works, but low sections can still turn muddy after solid rain.

Getting there. On Warialda Street with free street parking usually available nearby. Kogarah Station is a short walk, so you can arrive by train on the T4 line and skip the car.

Nearby with the dogs. The Kogarah town centre near the station has cafes with outdoor seating, and Scarborough Off Leash Dog Park on Civic Avenue is a close alternative if this one is busy.

Do a lap of the fence line and check the gate latch before you let the lead off. Two minutes now saves a chase later.

Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the quietest window. Sunday and late weekday afternoons draw the biggest crowds. Bring a towel if it has rained recently.
